Below are some frequently asked questions, but if anything remains unclear feel free to reach out to [email protected] at any time.

What is OutVoice?
OutVoice is a freelancer management and payments system designed to help businesses automate away the headaches of invoicing, onboarding documents, and tax forms.
I'm a freelancer. How can I use OutVoice?
Freelancers must be invited to OutVoice via a business already using the platform. Once invited, freelancers can send payment requests to managers, upload tax forms, view payment history and calls for submissions, as well as change payment methods at any time.
How do I register for OutVoice?
A manager will invite you to start using OutVoice via your email address. Freelancers are then instructed to follow the link in the invitation email to enter bank account and tax information, sign intellectual property agreements, and, sometimes, upload ID verification.
How long does it take to get paid?
Payments usually take up to 3-5 business days to arrive after they are approved by your manager, depending on payment method and bank. You will be notified via email when a payment to you begins that 3-5 day journey.
What do I have to do to get my money out of OutVoice?
You don't have to do anything just so long as your payment method is set up after registering. Your money will be deposited directly into your bank account or other selected payment method.
What tax documents do I need to upload?
Freelancers based in the United States will need to upload form W-9, while freelancers based anywhere else may need to upload a W8-BEN. Some businesses do not require freelancers to upload tax documents prior to getting paid, however please double check with your manager.
How long does it take my company to approve payments?
After you send in a payment request, the approval process varies by company and isn't controlled by OutVoice. Once the "final approver" at the company you completed freelance work for approves the payment, the payment is sent to you. We recommend freelancers reach out to their manager if a payment is marked as pending and it has been longer than usual for that company to approve a payment.
Why haven't I received my payment?
First, it's important to double check to make sure your payment method is correct and you've uploaded all the necessary documents required by your Payer. Payment typically takes 3 to 5 business days to reach your bank account once scheduled, issued, or a payment request is approved. If you feel like there's an issue after this period of time, don't hesitate to contact support.
Why did OutVoice ask me to upload my ID?
Banks and other financial insitutions request this due to various laws around the world designed to prevent money laundering, bribery, and terrorism. OutVoice follows all applicable Know Your Customer laws and guidelines. In most cases it will not be necessary to upload anything. If an ID is required, we will notify you.
